Freshman 15: Abroad Edition
If you thought the freshman 15 was bad, it is nothing compared to the abroad 15. The struggle is real here for many of my Friars and I who are studying abroad in Italy. But, it is a good struggle. As marketing major back at PC (*crying*), I learned all about the 4 P’s in marketing: Product, price, placement, and promotion. Well, here in Italy, life is all about what I like to call the three P’s: Pizza, pasta, and Panini’s. These are much tastier than the 4 p’s from marketing class and are no joke ALL ITALIANS EAT (well that and gelato). However, my abroad adventures have taken me to other cities and counties that seem to expand their food horizons (thank god for the countries that I visit with Starbucks). Here is just a TASTE of the nutrition of some of my fellow Friars and I, in Italy and beyond. And, if you like what you see, study abroad and travel the world. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. And don’t worry, Concannon Fitness Center WILL be there when you get back.
