Christmas came early this year…new Lululemon Pop-Up Store at Providence Place Mall
A Lululemon (finally) opened at the Providence Place Mall this past week! As of now, the store is just a satellite location open through the holidays until January 16th. However, if we’re lucky, the store may remodel and become a permanent location if it does well. They are testing out the location to see how it does, but are also thinking about putting one up in the Wayland Square area instead. The next closest Lulu is at the Garden City shopping center in Cranston, which is almost an extra $8 Uber ride ($7.45 compared to $15.30). So, do yourself and your friends a favor and try to make this location stick around!
The store is located on the first level of the mall right across from Athleta (friendly rivalry?). The store does not have as extensive as an inventory as other Lululemon stores, but actually has a much calmer and less-overwhelming vibe as a result. They even have stands to do yoga on in the front of the store, perhaps to release some stress while holiday shopping? It’s very spread out and roomy with plenty of places to sit, so you don’t have to feel bad dragging a friend or boyfriend along with you…

They also have plenty of options to keep the younger ones (or older ones with younger hearts) occupied, such as games like tic-tac-toe set up on tables. In addition to the games, they even have some clothing items from their kid’s line, Ivivva, including leggings, sweatshirts, and socks.

All in all the store provides a fabulous experience (per usual) for shoppers, and is worth checking out!
